$40.00 – $180.00

What: Exploring the Evidence Based Treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Related Disorders (OCRD) 4 CEs for Licensed Psychologists

When: Friday, March 28; 9:00 am to 1:15 pm

Where: Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road, Cincinnati, OH 45230

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is one of the most prevalent mental health conditions, often taking root in childhood or adolescence. Unfortunately, despite being common, individuals typically experience a significant delay—averaging 14 to 17 years—before receiving appropriate care. This workshop aims to bridge that gap by equipping participants with the knowledge and tools necessary for early identification and effective treatment of OCD and related disorders (OCRDs).

Participants will be provided with case examples, enhancing their ability to recognize the nuances of OCD and OCRD treatment. This will be an informative and interactive session designed to empower mental health professionals to better serve individuals struggling with OCD and related disorders, promoting faster access to care and improved patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

  1.  Understand the characteristics and development of OCD and related disorders.
  2. Recognize the signs and symptoms to facilitate early intervention.
  3. Explore evidence-based treatment options and strategies for effective care.
  4. Analyze case examples to enhance assessment and treatment planning skills.
